classroom.jpg (7941 bytes)Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream was for brotherhood, unity, peace, harmony, and prosperity.  On August 28, 1963, hundreds of thousands of civil-rights supporters attended Dr. Kings March on Washington.  On the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, in front of the 250 thousand people that were present, he delivered his "I Have a Dream" Speech.

Thirty-seven years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. said, "I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places shall be made plain and the crooked places will be made strait and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together."  Dr. King's soul may be at rest, but even to this day, his dream has lived on.
